Become an Ambassador

Dance OVER Fear is looking for talented and positive dancers to represent DOF for the upcoming 2024/2025 dance season. Our ambassadors support our mission of spreading positivity and passion through their own unique style, story, & love for dance. Ambassadors will have opportunities to perform together, take special classes, attend & be part of our trips & experiences, & support our “Fierce & Fearless” dance team. We understand that dancers are busy at their home studios, at school, and for other sporting events. With that understanding we are EXTREMELY flexible on what your ambassador would like to/could attend as it works with your schedule! We want each dancer to walk in and out of our programs or classes feeling inspired, powerful, and confident!

2025 Ambassador Requirements:

Dancers applying to be one of our 2024/2025 Ambassadors must meet the following requirements to be considered:

Are at least 5 years old as of October 1st 2024
Are within 2 hours of Arlington Heights IL (60004)
Are enrolled in a current dance program/class &/or have at least 2 years of professional dance or gymnastic training
Are comfortable with public speaking & performing
Have a natural “can-do” & supportive attitude
Are considered positive role models at their dance studio or school
Are able to attend the July 2025 “Somewhere Over the Rainbow Gala” (Date TBA)

We know our dancers are busy and have a lot they navigate with dance, teaching/coaching, other sports, work, and school. Please let us know the best evenings your dancer would be available for an ambassador dinner/class/meeting (if any).
